Designed by Erik Schekde, this mouth-blown glass carafe features a unique drip free pouring insert and filter.
In the words of Erik Schekde (the designer):-
"Water is one of the most important resources we have on Earth and therefore it must be treated with respect. Acknowledging this was an inspiration throughout the developing and designing process of the carafe.
Over the years many attempts have been made to develop a non-dripping edge, but no one ever quite succeeded. In recognition of this I decided on designing another system hiding and holding back the drops instead. Furthermore I felt that splashes from ice cubes, lemon pieces etc. had to be avoided and I therefore added the filter to the pouring insert.
Handling the carafe you get the feeling of the content running through your hands as you pour. As you hold the carafe for the first time you will feel that the grip and balance are in perfect harmony, making the shape of the carafe feel just right."
- Size : 26cm high, 13cm diameter at the base and 8cm diameter at the top.
