first introduced in 1963, the commercial survival of the tape cassette as a music format now seems to be destined for extinction due to the introduction of cd's and mp3 players in the digital age. designed to satisfy the nostalgia of a generation remembering the creation of 'mix tape's' for their lovers and carefully unscrewing and re-spooling a favourite album that was chewed up to near destruction by their tape deck.
