In 1988, the very first series of JACOB JENSEN Clocks were introduced on the market. The design was based on the JACOB JENSEN Classic watches and contained all the easily recognizable Jacob Jensen elements. Plain surfaces, clear lines, sharp borders and the interaction between black and silver. The execution of the new products has been carried out to the same degree of excellence and finish as the original series.

The world clock has five movements built into one aluminium sheet. These movements can be adjusted to show the actual time in five of the world’s metro-poles, with the option for custom made city names under each dial.

Like the original, this clock is designed with two coloured hands and dials - night and day. The hands thereby appear to change colour when moving from black to silver and vice versa.
